I'm like 90% done on my packing, but the nagging feeling of forgetting something is even worse this time, seeing as I'm not going with family.

Before I yak about Japan though, I don't know where to begin with yesterday. I headed over to parkway to get new swimming goggles for myself. I stopped by Cheryl's place to drop off something, and since she was in the middle of watching a movie online, decided to watch too. My Sassy Girl is personally, much better in it's Korean version, has a more meaningful touch, and I wouldn't mind rewatching the Korean one. Apparently apart from the American remake, there's a Japanese one.

Anyway to cut the brief short-er, Shermaine persuaded Cheryl to go for the post prom party later that night. I initially wasn't keen on going due to the proximity of the trip, but Cheryl and I decided to go along anyways. It was so last minute, we rushed home and got changed, meeting at Kembangan. Singapore can have a lot of lecherous men, it's kind of repulsive. Never mind if you don't know what I'm referring to.

I had no idea what to expect, it being my first time to Zouk. Or any club for that matter! No idea what to wear either, and where to go, so we tagged along with Shermaine and 5 of her friends, Cheryl and I. Brandon met us and joined us later.

When we finally got in, the atmosphere was really eye opening, I always imagined clubs to be like this, but being there was completely different. I guess people like my brother Isaac will shrug me off as the totally clueless sort, but at least I tried something new. I actually had half a mind to go home while we were waiting outside :S But anyway after a drink and some mingling, we got down and gave it a shot.

I thought it was kinda silly if you went and didn't even try, I bet Mark woulda said 'You might as well make the best of it.' Dunno why but I think he's said sucha thing before. So yeah we got down to the dance floor and tried some stuff (:S) and it was kinda fun. No where near the experienced, but surely the intoxicating atmosphere with the reverberations makes something wanna twitch. If only there was alcohol. And lots of it.

We were at Kembangan at 8, but we left about 2 or 3-ish.. I'll be asking Shermaine for the pictures sometime. Certainly something I won't easily forget, and hope I won't be to tired later for the flight, after tennis this morning too. With the scorching Sun, my tan has gotten really dark, thank goodness I'll be all covered up (and freezing) in Japan..
