This is ridiculous. I've been wearing this pair of spectacles for four years now, haven't bought clothes for more than a year, and been wearing clothes out that's more than a third my age old. I'm the only one at home who's still using the same bed as before moving, despite comments like the bed being small, and
everyone else having gotten a
queen or super single bed. My last watch lasted more than five years, my laptop, coming to three. I barely have problems with tidyness and do my fair share of housework, plus kept all my stuff so durable.
And when I ask for a new pair of spectacles, because this is old and faded, bent and scratched, I can't. Compared to most, my pocket money of $6 a day, plus not getting any money when I go out, is a quite much smaller. I pay my own phone bills on top of my pocket money. I don't ask for a $700 gadget, and the last time I asked them for money to buy a material want was over 3 years ago. They give the excuse of the economic crisis, but way before all of this, they never ever relented anyway. What's the use of keeping all my possessions so well when others break theirs and get it replaced. Appreciate? My ass.
Now, I'm getting a part time job courtesy of Hong Xiang, and are they glad I will be finding my own money to buy my own meals rather than asking for allowance?
No.
