Mellow sunday morning

Sunday Morning

Sweet is the dew on a cool Sunday morning,
Like the scent of your hair, in the breeze gently swaying.
The endless sky above, a mellow shade of blue,
Another day has begun, refreshed, anew.

Then the pitter and patter, of a drizzle, falls,
But she tosses, she turns, she longingly stalls,
Against the cold pillow, she begins to stir.
With the warmth of the sunlight streaming through, she dithers.

The glow of her cheeks, the impalpable beauty,
Her eyes blinking listlessly, catching the pristine sea.
She's my everything, she's my whole heart,
She is my morning's, wonderful start.

Awesome news! I'm the vice-captain of the tennis teamfor guys! Found out last night, though to not much surprise as the ex-captain already hinted it to me. It turns out Cheryl's the vice-captain for the girls team too. I think we're gonna make PT a new warm up for the team, as there isn't any currently and it's kinda risky for injuries.

I thought of the poem this morning cause it really was a refreshing start to the weekend. Though a Saturday, but doesn't Sunday morning sound more melodic? Friday was another great day, our trainee economics teacher was leaving and we planned some little party. Plus, I went over to Meridian for the TPJC tennis girl's match, and we WON Meridian! Fwahaha, they were pretty shocked I guess, didn't think our school could beat 'em. The guys team, I.e. me too, didn't make it pass the first qualifiers though...

Nearly everything's looking up for me right now, studies included cuz I'm not lagging behind much now. With June coming up, it's gonna be so much better considering I'm always shagged from the previous day's school. Respite comes solely as the few hours rest, most often 5 hours a day the whole week.

The late updates are a bit demoralizing, it's like a reflection of the diminished free time in tertiary education. The rat race could have even just only started. This morning I went over to my friend's plac3e for tennis. Played with her for slightly more than an hour with Joseph, (she says we don't really look like each other. And coincidentally she looks and talks similar to Cheryl) then headed over to siglap for breakfast. I'm gonna be free for the rest of the day, so I guess I'm gonna game on BF2 to make up for the entertainment I've been missing out on :/

Ciao!
