It's been a bit busy trying to update my blog, been logging on to the 'new post' page, but having not much time to write. If I'm not busy doing the several orders from the blogshop with Cheryl, I'm at home either playing BF2, out or moping. The blogshop got 6 orders within the next week it was up, two of which were quite rushed but much better done than the last time I did a card with her.
Got to get the pictures up for the next collection, but right now I'm kinda tired. I've been waking up later every morning, reluctant to go for that normal timetable of boredom. Apparently, tomorrow, there's gonna be a promotional announcement.
Last year, J1's were told to go to three different venues, each differing. These three rooms were like American Idol's deciding room. So basically, one room has those who were going to be promoted, one room had those advanced students, and the last, the retainees.
Word has it that it's going to be repeated tomorrow. I just think it's a bit too trivializing of the matter, but it sure is a more interesting way to break the news down. I'm pretty sure I met the promotional criteria, so I think I'm safe at least. Always been more or less in the middle. The advanced get funding to excel, the lousier students also get funding to push their rears, but those in the middle often are neglected. Shermaine told me something like that, and how true, ugh.
BF2 has regained more of it's fun since Yi Chen reinstalled it and squad-ed up with us again. Nice times, really reminiscent. To have the rest back, at a LAN centre would be asking to much though, I guess. Plus, I feel as if I've outgrown that excitement.
I haven't any pictures to upload this time, nothing significant. My SG wants another outing though, but I don't know if the allure is still there. Meanwhile Brandon and Cheryl may be going to Egypt on a school field trip. I was piqued by Egypt's history for a long time, watching documentaries on it's dense undergroud networks within the pyramids, their intricate
hieroglyphs and unique beliefs.
But going with the school makes education so totally dampened. For these sorta interests I think it'd be better off free and easy with guided tours on option. Doing your own research seems more satisfying, no matter how geeky that sounds :\ I've never had a fully toured holiday before, just seems to stressing rushing from place to place with a schedule to follow..
Turning in soon, cya P:
